KPA Wedding Photo Competition 2014 – Our Journey & Achievements
Wedding Kathmandu proudly celebrates its photographers who actively participated in the prestigious KPA Wedding Photo Competition 2014. This national-level contest brought together some of the most respected wedding photographers from across Nepal, each submitting their finest cultural wedding photographs captured with artistic precision, emotion, and storytelling excellence.
The competition was organized by the Kathmandu Photographers’ Association (KPA). The distinguished jury panel featured:

The event was coordinated by Mr. Bal Krishna Shrestha, and according to the association, nearly 800 professional photographers from various districts of Nepal participated—making it one of the largest and most competitive wedding photography events of that time.
Among the talented participants, Wedding Kathmandu achieved outstanding success by securing the First Position in the competition. As a recognition of this milestone achievement, the team was honored with a Nikon camera as an award.
This victory not only brought national recognition but also reinforced Wedding Kathmandu’s reputation for creative excellence and cultural storytelling in wedding photography.
In addition to securing first place, photographers from Wedding Kathmandu also ranked in the Top 10 and Top 20 categories, further showcasing the depth of talent within the team.
The team was led by Mr. Bikram Neupane, the Chief Photographer and Chairperson of the company. His strong leadership, artistic vision, and continuous dedication have played a pivotal role in elevating the company’s standard and creative direction.
