US Passport Visa Photo Requirements

  • You can send your own photo following USA federal guidelines on the Wedding Kathmandu website.
  • The photo size needs to be between 600×600 pixels or 1200×1200 pixels (anything larger will be rejected).
  • The image must be in color and have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
  • The head height should be 1.29 inches, and the eyeline should be 1.18 inches from the bottom of the 2x2-inch photo.
  • You can either pick up your passport photos from your nearest Walmart (available for 1-hour pickup) or have them delivered to your home.
  • Price: approximately Rs200 for a set of passport photos.
